Today We Are Spending the Next Generation's Inheritance

 The figures in these charts are astonishing, but not nearly as significant as the trend of thinking among the American people which the figures represent. For the first time in the entire history of the United States, a generation of Americans is squandering the next generation's inheritance. With the national debt at one trillion dollars, there is no way in the foreseeable future whereby this generation could possibly liquidate such a mountain of accumulated debt.
 The problem is aggravated by the fact that this generation has also committed itself to pay off additional liabilities in the future amounting to approximately eleven trillion dollars. Since 1972 an effort has been made to compute precisely how extensive these commitments really are, but it is feared that they may turn out to be even more that the eleven trillion which present tabulations indicate.

 The Problem of the "Fix"

 O course, the Founders would understand exactly what this generation is doing to itself. It is the very essence of human nature to pursue this disastrous course once the appetite has been created to demand it. As a result, Americans taxpayers now discover themselves playing a role almost identical to that of an addict on hard drugs. The addict denounces his "habit" and despises the "pusher" who got him into it, but when he is confronted with the crisis of needing a "fix" he will plead with tears of anguish for the narcotic remedy.
 The "fix" if course, is not a remedy at all. The real remedy is "withdrawal" The addict must escape from the tortuous cycle of vicious repetition which is not solving his problem but compounding it. If withdrawal is painful, at least it is not prolonged. The problem is primarily a matter of will power--the determination to change.
 Every aspect of this reprehensible example applies to the mood of the American masses during recent years. Polemics against the government's profligate spending are vehement. The denunciation of high taxes is virtually universal. From banker to ditch-digger it is eloquently explained how this entire syndrome of big spending, high taxes, oppressive government regulations, and moutainous debt is stifling the economy, inhibiting the rate of production, and stagnating the wholesome development of the traditional American life-style. Yet, with all of that, any Congressman will verify that is has been, at least until recently, almost political suicide to try to change the trend. When it comes to cutting programs and reducing costs, balancing the budget, and eliminating deficit spending, it is amazing how few will make the necessary adjustment without the most violent outcries of protest when it affects them personally. But then, this would come as no surprise to the Founders. It is called "human nature." They would know that the only solution is to develop the will power to make the change. This is not easy, but it can be done.

 How Can the United States Return to the Founders' Formula?

 In recent years, the number of Americans who have become reconciled to the inescapable necessity of returning to the Founders' formula has risen to millions. The very circumstances in which the American taxpayer finds himself are sufficient to awaken many to recognize the fiscal bottomless pit into which the nation is sinking. The vivid shock of that realization is precisely what is needed to arouse the majority of the people to the point where they are willing to go through fiscal withdrawal and kick the habit of splurge spending.
 However, Congressman, the President, and the taxpayers are all asking the same question: "Is there any way this can be accomplished without our going through the wringer of a deep depression?"
 This writer believes that there is, By returning to the fundamental principles espoused by the Founding Fathers, we can reverse the trend and get America back to a formula of prosperity economics without a major crunch or depression. The outline for such a plan has already been submitted to the appropriate channels in Congress, and these proposals will be included in a forthcoming book entitled The Healing of the Nation.

 We find ourselves in such great debt that all Americans are going to have to make tough choices.  We in the near future cuts may come to all departments of the government because the debt is putting the country in grave danger.  I'm sure it will take a new President in order to begin to solve this problem, Obama clearly has an agenda of similar to Roosevelt too spend and spend and spend and spend.

Part 3 of Founders thoughts on Debt

 The Risk in Violating Fundamental Principles

 America's contribution to mankind's 5000-year leap was achieved by rather strict adherence to certain fundamental principles which were part of the Founders' phenomenal success formula.  As we have already seen, some of these most important fundamentals are being neglected if not repudiated in our day. A most important area of neglect is the advice of the Founders concerning national fiscal policies. As we examine the two charts included with this chapter we find a number of notable things.

First of all, as we have already observed, each generation of the past tried to pay off the national debt. In our own day the importance of this policy has been DE-emphasized. This development has occurred simultaneously with a policy of DE-emphasizing the restraints and literal construction of the Constitution.

 Beginning with the era of the Great Depression, all three branches of the federal government used the climate of emergency to overstep their Constitutional authority and aggressively undertake to perform tasks not authorized by the Founders. Extensive studies by Nobel Prize-winning economist Milton Friedman have demonstrated that every one of these adventures in non-Constitutional activities proved counter-productive, some of them tragically so.

 Secondly, the people were induced to believe that these serious aberrations of Constitutional principles would provide a shortcut to economic prosperity, thereby lifting the people our of the depression. Unfortunately, it was successful only politically. It gave the people the illusion that by spending vast quantities of borrowed money they would prosper, when, as a matter of fact, the outcome was exactly the opposite, just as the Founders had predicted.

 Dr. Milton Friedman points out that after the federal government had spent many billions of dollars and had seriously meddled with the Constitutional structure of the nation, the unemployment rate was higher in 1938 than it had been in 1923. Had not the crisis of World War II suddenly emerged, which required the spending of many additional billions of borrowed dollars and also resulted in absorbing the unemployed work force, the fiscal failure of the New Deal experiments would be better remembered by the American people.

 Splurge Spending is Habit-forming

 It is highly significant that the political formula which Harry Hopkins recommended to keep a particular administration in power was "tax, tax --spend, spend--elect, elect." Once the people have been encouraged by their political leaders to indulge in splurge spending, the result is like a snowball rolling downhill--it increases in size and gains in speed. This is dramatically demonstrated in the charts, It will be noted that the national budget was less than a hundred billion dollars in 1960. Today we spend almost that much just for interest on the national debt. And that is more than the entire cost of World War I in real dollars! Since 1970 the national debt has tripled.

for Our Sins," are at the center of a legal case, the outcome of

which could determine if the state stays eligible for millions in

federal road dollars.

The Bowling Green Daily News reports the Kentucky Court of

Appeals is weighing an appeal brought by Harston after he lost two

suits brought by the state, which considers the signs a nuisance

that violates the 1965 Federal Beautification Act.

Kentucky could lose up to 10 percent of federal road dollars if

it fails to effectively control outdoor advertising.

This is a clear attack on the first admendment whether you believe or not, this about the freedom of the individual to express his rights.  The state is caving into federal government, Federal Beautification Act are they completely insane.  We must continue the fight to protect our rights and the first admendment is under assualt in so many ways. Senator Thomas Gore

Senator Thomas Gore of Oklahoma said the following during the depression.

No depression, Gore argued, "can be ended by gifts, gratuities,doles, and alms handed out by the Federal Treasury. and extorted from taxpayers that are bleeding from every pore." On the issue of relief, especially Gore argued that state and city officials "have immediate contact" with hardship cases and can best "superintend the dispensation of charity." Soon after the ERA brought federal relief into existence, Gore said "The day on which we began to make these loans by the Federal Government to States, counties, and cities was a more evil day in the history of the Republic that the day on which the Confederacy fired upon Fort Sumter."

Gore led the charge against funding these programs but hopelessly outnumbered by those who FDR had under his control. Gore was a Democrat who opposed the government spending and it cost him his job at the next election. After receiving an angry telegram, it was 1935 he responded back with the following telegram.

"Shows how the dole spoils the soul. Your telegram intimates that you votes are for sale. Much as I value votes I am not in the market. I cannot consent to buy votes with the people's money I owe a debt to the taxpayer as well as to the unemployed."

Shortly after sending this he was led to the senate floor for Senator Gore was blind and voted no. Where can we find some American servants like Senator Thomas Gore to clean this mess up.

 Benjamin Franklin on Splurge Spending

 One of the Founders who made his fortune through frugality and financial discipline was Benjamin Franklin. He had this to say concerning splurge spending.
  But what madness must it be to run in debt for these superfluities! We are offered, by the terms of this vendue, six months' credit; and that perhaps has induced some of us to attend it, because we cannot spare the ready money, and hope now to be fine without it. But, ah, think what you do when you run debt; you give to another power over your liberty. If you cannot pay at the time, you will be ashamed to see your creditor; you will be in fear when you speak to him; you will make poor pitiful sneaking excuses, and by degrees come to lose your veracity, and sink into base down-right lying; for, as Poor Richard says, the second vice is lying, the first in running in debt. And again, to the ame purpose, lying rides upon debt's back. Whereas a free born Englishman ought not to be ashmed or afraid to see or speak to any man living. But poverty often deprives a man of all sprit and virtue. "Tis hard for an empty bag to stand upright, as Poor Richard truly says. (Smyth, Writings of Benjamin Franklin. 3:416.)

 The Founders Policy Concerning A National Debt

 The pioneers of the American commonwealth had the wisdom born of experience to know that the debts of a nation are no different from the debts of an individual. the fact that the indebtedness is shared by the whole people makes it no less ominous. The Founders knew that dire circumstances. such as war or other emergency, could force a nation to borrow, so they authorized the federal government to do so in Article 1 of the Constitution. Nevertheless, they considered it a matter of supreme importance for the survival of a free people to get out of debt and enjoy complete solvency in order to prosper. This is reflected in the declaration of Thomas Jefferson when he said:
 I, however place economy among the first and most important of republican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of the dangers to be feared. (Bergh, Writings of Thomas Jefferson, 15:47.)

 Should One Generation Impose Its Debts on the Next?

 It has always been popular in some countries to justify the practice of passing on the debts incurred by one generation to the next for payment. This was justified, particularly in the case of war debts, by the rationalization that since war is fought to maintain the independence and integrity of the nation, future generations should bear the burden of the cost.
 But this was not the view of the American Founding Fathers. They felt that the wars, economic problems, and debts of one generation should be paid for by the generation which incurred them. They wanted the rising generation to be genuinely free--both politically and economically. It was their feeling that passing on their debts to the next generation would be forcing the children of the future to be born into a certain amount of bondage or involuntary sevitude--something for which they had neither voted nor subscribed. It would be, in a very literal sense, "taxation without representation." Clearly, they said. it was a blatant violation of a fundamental republican principle.

 Jefferson Considered an Inherited Debt Immoral

  Thomas Jefferson was particularly emphatic on the point. Said he:
  That we ar bound to defray [the war's] expenses within our own time, and unauthorized to burden posterity with them, I suppose t have been proved in my former letter.... We shall all consider ourselves morally bound to pay them ourselves, and consequently within the life [expectancy] of the majority.....We must raise, then, ourselves the money for this war, either by taxes within the year or by loans; and if by loans, we must repay them ourselves, proscribing forever the English practice of perpetual funding.(Bergh, Writings of Thomas Jefferson, 13:357-58)

 The Founders Establish the Policy of Paying Debts Promptly

 From the founding of the nation under the new Constitution, it became a policy of supreme importance to pay off the national debt. In his first term, President Washington wrote:
 I entertain a strong hope that the state of the national finances is now sufficiently matured to enable you to enter upon a systematic and effectual arrangement for the regular redemption and discharge of the public debt, according to the right which has been reserved to the government. No measure can be more desirable, whether viewed with an eye to its intrinsic importance, or to the general sentiment and wish of the nation. (Fitzpatrick, Writings of George Washington, 32:211)
 The following year the President made it clear that this was no casual suggestion to Congress, but a matter of the highest priority.
  No pecuniary consideration is more urgent than the regular redemption and discharge of the public debt; on none can delay be more injurious, or and economy of time more valuable (Ibid., 33:168.)
  Just before leaving office, Washington made a final plea to the Congress to exert a greater effort to pay off the national debt, if only for the sake of the next generation, He said:
  Posterity may have cause to regret if, from any motive, intervals of tranquility are left unimproved for accelerating the valuable end. (Ibid,  35:319.)

 The History of the American National Debt

 When we trace the history of the  national debt, we find that the policy laid down by the Founders has been followed by every generation until the present one. One of the charts accompanying this chapter(not included here) reflects the annual national debt from the days of George Washington to the present. (2006) By carefully tracing the pattern of these debts, we notice that after every war or financial emergency involving heavy indebtedness there was an immediate effort to pay if off as rapidly as possible. This policy was followed for the sake of the rising generation. The adult citizens of America wanted their children born in freedom, not bondage.
  In our own day, however, a different attitude toward national fiscal policies has evolved. This is not only reflected in the skyrocketing thrust of an astonishing level of national indebtedness. but it has been accompanied by an equally profligate explosion in the cost of government operations, as reflected in the chart showing "Outlays of the Federal  Government" 1790 to 2006."

The government outlay for the year 2006 was 2.473 trillion dollars, this is just cost of government and doesn't include spending bills, social security, medicare, and etc. We have found ourselves moving away from the founding fathers guidance about debt and we are just getting worse.

Part One

27th Principle- The Burden of Debt is a Destructive to Freedom as Subjugation by Conquest.

 Slavery or involuntary servitude is the result of either subjugation by conquest or succumbing to the bondage of debt.
 Debt, of course. is simply borrowing against the future. It exchanges a present advantage for a future obligation. It will require not only the return of the original advance of funds, but a substantial compensation to the creditor for the use of the money.

How Debt Can Benumb the Human Spirit

 The Founders knew that borrowing can be an honorable procedure in a time of crisis, but they deplored it just the same. They looked upon it as a temporary handicap which should be alleviated at the earliest possible moment.  They had undergone sufficient experience with debt to see its corrosive and debilitating effect, which tends to corrupt both individuals and nations.
 In the case of the individual, excessive debt greatly curtails the freedom of the debtor. It benumbs his spirit. He often feels hesitant to seek a new location or change a profession. He passes up financial opportunities which a free man might risk. Heavy debt introduces an element of taint into a man's search for happiness. There seems to be a perpetual burden every waking hour. There is a sense of being perpetually threatened as he rides the razor's edge of potential disaster.
 There is also the sense of waste-much like the man who has to make payments on a dead horse. It is money spent for pleasures or even needs that are long since past.  It often means sleepless nights, recoiling under the burden of a grinding weight which is constantly increasing with every tick of the clock, and often at usurious rates.

The Founders' Attitude Toward Debt

 The Founding Fathers belonged to an age when debt was recognized for the ugly spectre that it really is. They considered frugality a virtue, and even when an emergency compelled them to borrow, they believed in borrowing frugally and paying back promptly. Nearly everyone finds it to his advantage or absolute necessity to borrow on occasion. Debt becomes the only available means-a necessary evil. Nevertheless, the Founders wanted the nature of debt to be recognized for what it is: evil, because it is a form of bondage.

 As Thomas Jefferson wrote:
   The maxim of buying nothing without the money in our pockets to pay for it would make our country one of the happiest on earth.Experience during the war probed this; and I think every man will remember that, under all the privations it obliged him to submit to during that period, he slept sounder and awoke happier than he can do now. (Ford, Writings of Thomas Jefferson. 4:414)

 Debts from Splurge Spending

 The founders felt that the worst kind of debt is that which results from "splurge" borrowing-going into debt to enjoy the temporary luxury of extravegantly living "beyond one's means." They knew the seductive snare which this possibility presents to the person who is watching other people do it.  The English author William Makepeace Thackeray reflected those feelings when he wrote these words in Vanity Fair: "How well those live who are comfortably and throroughtly in debt: how they deny themselves nothing; how jolly and easy they are in their minds." (Vanity Fair, 2 vols. in 1 [New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, 1893], 1:208)
 But, of course, all the reveling and apparitions of debt financed prosperity disappear like a morning mist when it comes time to pay. Extravagant living, waste, and hazardous bankruptcy, abject poverty, and even gnawing hunger from lack of the most basic necessities of life. Universal human experience verifies the bitter reality of the parable of the prodigal son, who "would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat"(Luke 15:16).
 The kind of frugality for which the Founders were famous was rooted in the conviction that debt should be abhorred like a plague. They perceived excessive indebtedness as a form of cultural disease.

Where is the real John McCain

I'm adding to the top of this post that McCain finally agreed to debate Hayworth on July 16 & 17. The first debate will air on KTVK channel 3 in Phoenix at 7 p.m. on July 16.

The second will air on KUAT channel 6 in Tucson at 7 p.m. on July 17.

 Senator John McCain came out two months ago with his ten point plan for border security after the state of Arizona passed sb1070.  My question for the senator is where have you been? This problem didn't suddenly become a problem in 2010, its been there ever since you have been in office and even before.  He was a sponsor of the Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007 which basically was amnesty.  We are now to believe that McCain is just about securing the border, he has reluctantly endorsed sb1070 while his opponent JD Hayworth has praised it.  McCain has done more about faces on this issue than just about any others, It's an election year and he's having a serious challenge for the first time in many years, if ever.

 We have seen in this campaign attacks that claim that JD Hayworth is a lobbyist in Washington, It's completely true.  JD Hayworth had one client, It was a friend and he only registered as a lobbyist to avoid any legal trouble that might manifest itself.  You see the ads that imply a very different idea about what Hayworth was lobbying for was something other than a friend who was having a intellectual property dispute.  If only John McCain had run such a campaign against our current president maybe the result would have been much different for him.  His so willing to sling accusations around in this election but failed at pointing out flaws and motives of the president. 

McCain opposed the bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003, voted for TARP and claims that they lied to him about where the money was going.  I would think a long term Senator would have asked the right questions to begin with not trusting anyone in Washington.  McCain has served the state well but I believe the time has come for change here in AZ.  I will be voting for JD Hayworth at our August primary's, I encourage ever Arizonan to register and vote for change starts with the citizen's.

Social Securtiy out of the governments hands and into the peoples

I know there are some holes in this plan, It's just on outline of a plan so Read it and let me know what you think. 

I have an idea for fixing the problem with social security, My plan would be costly to begin with but fair to all who already have paid money into the system.  The problem with Social Security is very simple, We allowed the federal government to dip into the fund to cover out of control spending.  We need to keep the federal government out of the cookie jar and keep the money in our hands where is belongs.

 My plan begins with everyone still having to participate in social security to save for retirement but the government isn't allowed to touch your money unless you say so.  From the moment this would be enacted you would have control of the money just like a 401k plan.  We would setup a nationwide plan just like local and national companies do, Imagine the buying power of pooling everyone together.  You could invest in riskier stuff when you are younger and moderate as you grow older, nearing retirement.  My plan would also allow anyone not comfortable about investing their own money to loan or invest with the federal government at a rate to be determined. You would be unable to pull any money out of this account until the age of 60 or you can wait until you retire.  You could stay in the plan after retirement to keep growing your money or pull ever dime out to use at your discretion.

 We would need to set a minimum and a maximum you could invest at each pay period and you could decide how much you would invest in your retirement. I would also make the amount invested pre-tax just like a normal 401k and you could still participate in a real 401k if your company offers one. This would be your money to control, people would still be saving for retirement but without government stealing the money.

 One of the great parts about this plan is the money is yours, If you happened to die at 50 on the current social security plan your family loses the money you invested.  You can apply for assistance if you have children under 18 and there are some other benefits but mostly the government keeps your money.  This is 100% true if your single with no children, You don't make retirement and your money you invested with the government just vanishes. (seems like a tax to me, A big one)

 You would include all money in this plan in your will, living trust because the money is your and belongs to your family.  In my plan your family would have the option to take the money out to pay for the funeral, bills or just for backup to unforeseen problems.  Your beneficiaries would also have the option to put that money into there account or accounts tax free until they retire to grow the money even more.

 This is just a basic outline for a plan that I call Social Security for the People Reform Act.  The cost in the beginning would be very high because the amount of money coming in would be less to cover what's going out.  This isn't a quick fix by any means, this is a long term fix for the good of the country.  My plan would mean everybody would get what they have already paid and eventually the government and the tax payers would be clear of the current social security system.

Amnesty Past and Present

  I would like everyone to travel back with me to Nov. 6, 1986 and the bill that Ronald Reagan signed that fateful day.  The Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), also Simpson-Mazzoli Act (Pub.L. 99-603, 100 Stat. 3359, signed by President Ronald Reagan on November 6, 1986) is an Act of Congress which reformed United States immigration law.  You and most people would say that this was a huge mistake by Reagan for giving people citizenship for nothing. There is however one good thing about this Act, It was part of the deal Reagan had made with the democrats to get it passed. 

The Act made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit illegal alien (immigrants who do not possess lawful work authorization), required employers to attest to their employees' alien status. There was nothing included in the act about securing the border but Reagan got assurances from the democrats to do that very thing.  We are still waiting on that part, how many employer's are breaking this act in this country? We here in the state of Arizona passed HB 2779 an employer's sanction law, This is considered one of the toughest employer santion law.  It was signed by then Governor Janet Napolitano but there has only been one county and one man who has ever done anything with this law.  Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been enforcing this law but good luck finding anyone else around the state who is.

 We now come to Obama claiming we need immigration reform before securing the border but we already did reform in 1986 along with other laws on the book.  Illegal aliens aren't supposed to have jobs without proper identification, employers aren't supposed to hire them in the first place.  All the laws needed to enforce immigration are on the books, We just need our federal government to their job.  Obama will try everything in his tricks to get amnesty and this means holding border security hostage to get it done,  What happens when some terrorist crosses our border to blow something up or will it take five or six border agents gunned downed by a ruthless drug cartel.  How much blood is it going to take Mr President and our congress before you will do the job, you where sent to washington to do?

 Arizona has stuck it's neck out, trying to get this problem solved but I'll we get is lawsuits, protests, boycotts and liberal media calling us all racists.  If the federal government won't protect this border it may be left up to the states or the people that live within them.

 This lady is just another example of the US Government totally gone insane, Nobody would dispute that everyone should be paid for their efforts.  This isn't the problem with this video, To ask for illegals to call in abuses about unfair labor practice is like a robber stopping by and asking when your leaving the house.  He or She is breaking a law just by working, The owner of the business is breaking a law by having illegals working for him.  This is just another example of our Federal Government being so out of touch with the American people.

 She should be fired today, We as citizens don't get to chose which laws to follow do we?  If we break a law there usually is a consequence to our actions, It doesn't matter the reasons for you or I breaking the law, It's just that a law was broken.  Did she really think that nobody would be watching this video who would question her about wanting illegals to report abuse.  I would like to report an abuse of our laws, our border, our citizens and the country which this government claims to care about.  I think the American people should start a help line for teaching the constitution to the people who have sworn to protect it.  Just like laws they oppose, none have read it or don't have the honor to follow it.  Remember in November my fellow patriots, our time has come.

Though the pressure activists placed on Congress and the NRA last week made Nancy Pelosi postpone the vote on the DISCLOSE Act, she's now scheduled a vote for this Wednesday.




It's vital that every Second Amendment activist understand what's at stake here, and act today!



We're not just talking about legislation that would shut down groups in Washington, D.C.



The DISCLOSE Act will kill off every state-level association and group in the entire country, while keeping major left-wing radical groups intact - (and, with their exemption, the NRA).



This is not only counterproductive to our liberties, but tactically it's just plain stupid.



The enemies of freedom will kill off, one by one, every pro-freedom group in America, until there is only one.... and then they'll kill them off, with no one left to defend the Second Amendment.



Any kind of "deal" (NRA Executive V.P. Wayne LaPierre admitted the deal on the Lars Larsen radio show) with Pelosi, Reid, and Schumer isn't worth the paper it's printed on.



They are only attempting to divide the gun community (which the NRA exemption deal does) in order to conquer us.



And why are the Dems so anxious to pass this bill?



It's the best way they can pass gun control. Remove gun owners' voices from the fight and it means there's nothing stopping a repeal of your gun rights.



Why did Democrat leadership cut the deal with the NRA? There's only one reason -- they didn't have the votes to pass it.



And now that the NRA has it's exemption (from the draconian free speech limits of the DISCLOSE Act), Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer believe they can pass this outrageous restriction of your rights to free speech.



Again: the only weapon gun owners have to save their gun rights is their First Amendment right to free speech.



No amount of gymnastics by NRA leadership nor by politicians can smooth over this absolutely traitorous deal with the devil.



What can you do?



First, call the NRA (even if you called them last week) to tell them you don't support their despicable deal on the DISCLOSE Act.

I'm reading Sacred Fire by Peter A Lillback about our first president, I recommend everyone read it just as Glenn Beck suggested.  I don't always agree with Glenn about everything, his book selections have been very good about learning about the founders.

Kyl and McCain about the Border

 We have seen the video of Kyl here in Phoenix talking about President Obama stating the border won't be secured unless the get immigration reform first.  The Obama administration came out and denied this of course but what else could they do? Tell the truth, what a concept that would be.  They are playing with the lives of people about politics, We all need to wake up and start replacing them all with people who are working for the people. I wonder if any of them remember that having these positions in our government for the local school boards to the president of the United States is about serving the people.  It seems somewhere along the way the message of they work for us and not the lobbyists, big companies, unions, environmental groups and special interest groups has been lost.  We are fighting the 800lb gorilla in the room and must stand together to win back the country, for they have a love of power not service.

 I would just like to remind everybody who see Kyl and McCain spewing about their border plan to ask the question, Where have you been?  Kyl has been absent until McCain in one of his time to get re-elected flip flop routines throws out his ten point border security plan.  McCain is a conservative when it suits him and comes running home to the conservative base here in AZ when the elections roll around.  I don't doubt either men have concerns about border issues, We must hold them to the flame this time and never back down until they do what the people want.  I want everyone to remember that Reagan gave amnesty to 3 million illegals in 1986 and the deal was they would secure the border.  It never happened, so anytime someone brings up to you about having immigration reform before border security be sure to mention the congress has lied about fixing this problem before.  They got the new voters and did nothing, Imagine if they had fixed the problem in the late 80's how much money and trouble could have been avoided.

 I live here in AZ and see the problems this causes, We need to fix the border now without compromise about immigration reform being first.  You don't pump out your house full of water if it continues to rise.

Thank you very much for inviting me.



I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.



First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe . Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem .



The Europe you know is changing.



You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.



All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. There are mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.



There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.



Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden . In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.



In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.



Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.



In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.



In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.



Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.



A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.



Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France . One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.



The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .



Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators 'settlers', because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.



Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.



The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.



Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means 'submission'. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.



Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel . First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.



This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance. Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines , Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan , Lebanon , and Aceh in Indonesia . Israel is simply in the way. The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.



The war against Israel is not a war against Israel . It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us. If there would have been no Israel , Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest. Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.



Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem .



Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe , American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.



We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.

Arizona planning bill to deny birth certificates for children of illegal aliens

WASHINGTON - An Arizona idea to deny birth certificates to U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants is already rattling nerves on Capitol Hill.



State Sen. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, the main sponsor of Arizona's controversial immigration law, has said he intends to introduce legislation targeting the so-called anchor babies during the next regular legislative session. Although details remain unclear, and critics warn that such a measure would be a flagrant violation of the U.S. Constitution's 14th Amendment, Pearce's vague proposal already has received considerable national attention.





U.S. Rep. Ed Pastor, D-Ariz., said he doubts such a move would be legal because citizenship clearly falls under the federal government's authority. But Pearce and his allies are energized and will continue to pursue ill-advised policies unless Congress steps in and retakes control of the immigration issue by enacting comprehensive reform, he said.



"I can tell you that it's not a good idea, and it's unconstitutional. But that wouldn't stop the state Legislature from passing it and the governor from signing it," Pastor said.



U.S. Rep. Harry Mitchell, D-Ariz., also expressed concern about Pearce's targeting of U.S.-born babies.



"The constitutionality of that is pretty suspect," Mitchell said. "And it hasn't even been introduced yet. It's just talk."



The Supreme Court has maintained that the 14th Amendment grants citizenship to anybody born in the United States, but some argue that the amendment has been misinterpreted over the years and was never meant to cover the children of illegal immigrants. They speculate that a new legal battle could result in a different conclusion more favorable to their point of view.

Brewer's Defense Fund for sb1070

 I know a lot of people have supported sb1070, governor Brewer and my state for trying to stop the invasion of illegal immigrants.  Our coward of a attorney general Terry (no spine or ethics) Goddard has defied the governor and his oath to defend the state of Arizona.  She has to go outside of the attorney generals office to hire legal help to defend sb1070 against the lawsuits.  I personally have never been more proud of my state for standing up for the people of the state and for the country.  The federal government has been failing us in this area for a very long time and even the US senator's and representatives of this state have done nothing.  They come up with a plan when the house is already on fire, This fight is something we must do and can't afford to lose.  We must mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor in taking our country back from an out of control government,

Clinton comment on immigration law riles Ariz. gov

I think Brewer should be upset about them suing but where Clinton was at when she spoke. You think that her being in Ecuador wasn't planned? This regime is pathetic and can't wait for 2012 to vote them out of office.

PHOENIX – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Thursday she's angry over comments by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton that the Obama administration will sue the state over its new immigration law.

In a June 8 media interview in Ecuador that began circulating Thursday in the U.S., Clinton said President Barack Obama thinks the federal government should determine immigration policy and that the Justice Department "will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."

Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler on Thursday declined to say whether the department would sue and that "the department continues to review the law."

The department has been looking at the law for weeks for possible civil rights violations, with an eye toward a possible court challenge.

It's unclear why Clinton made the comment since it's not her area. She couldn't be reached Thursday for comment.

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Obama and Clinton have both made it clear that the administration opposes the law.

"I will defer to the Justice Department on the legal steps that are available and where they stand on the review of the law," Crowley said. "The secretary believes that comprehensive immigration reform is a better course of action."

Brewer, a Republican, said in a statement that "this is no way to treat the people of Arizona."

"To learn of this lawsuit through an Ecuadorean interview with the secretary of state is just outrageous," she said. "If our own government intends to sue our state to prevent illegal immigration enforcement, the least it can do is inform us before it informs the citizens of another nation."

Brewer spokesman Paul Senseman said the governor was "outraged" and that Clinton's comments make it appear that the Justice Department has decided to file suit.

"But she's confident that in the end, the state of Arizona, the citizens, will prevail," he said.

On April 23, Brewer signed what is considered the toughest legislation in the nation targeting illegal immigrants. It is set to go into effect July 29 pending multiple legal challenges and the Justice Department's review.

The law requires police investigating another incident or crime to ask people about their immigration status if there's a "reasonable suspicion" they're in the country illegally. It also makes being in Arizona illegally a misdemeanor, and it prohibits seeking day-labor work along the state's streets.

The law's stated intention is to drive illegal immigrants out of Arizona and discourage them from coming in the first place. It has outraged civil rights groups, drawn criticism from Obama and led to marches and protests organized by people on both sides of the issue.

The law's backers say Congress isn't doing anything meaningful about illegal immigration, so it's the state's duty to address the issue. Critics say it will lead to racial profiling and discrimination against Hispanics, and damage ties between police and minority communities.

Brewer met with Obama in the Oval Office about the law on June 3, telling him: "We want our border secured." Obama reiterated his objections to the law. Neither side appeared to give ground although both talked about seeking a bipartisan solution.

Other Arizona politicians, political candidates and activist groups were quick to weigh in on Clinton's remarks. U.S. Senate candidate J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging Sen. John McCain, called them appalling; attorney general candidates Tom Horne and Andrew Thomas also denounced them.

Joanne Lin, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union, urged the administration to take swift action against the law.

LETTER FROM A RETIRED BORDER PATROL AGENT:

This letter sent to Tennessee Senator Bill Frist from a retired border patrol agent,
and it has more common sense than all the bull being spewed from the Senate,
with the exception of a few sensible representatives.

Dear Senator Frist:

There is a huge amount of propaganda and myths circulating about illegal aliens,
particularly illegal Mexican, Salvadorian, Guatemalan and Honduran aliens.

#1. Illegal aliens generally do NOT want US citizenship. Americans are very vain
thinking that everybody in the world wants to be a US citizen. Mexicans, and
other nationalities want to remain citizens of their home countries while obtaining the benefits offered by the United States such as employment, medical care, instate tuition, government subsidized housing and free education for their
offspring. Their main attraction is employment and their loyalty usually remains
at home. They want benefits earned and subsidized by middle class Americans.
What illegal aliens want are benefits of American residence without paying
the price.

#2. There are no jobs that Americans won't do. Illegal aliens are doing jobs
that Americans can't take and still support their families. Illegal aliens take
low wage jobs, live dozens in a single residence home, share expenses and
send money to their home country. There are no jobs that Americans won't
do for a decent wage.

#3. Every person who illegally entered this nation left a home. They are NOT
homeless and they are NOT Americans. Some left jobs in their home countries.
They come to send money to their real home as evidenced by the more than 20
billion dollars sent out of the country each year by illegal aliens. These illegal
aliens knowingly and willfully entered this nation in violation of the law and
therefore assumed the risk of detection and deportation. Those who brought their alien children assumed the responsibility and risk on behalf of their children.

#4. Illegal aliens are NOT critical to the economy. Illegal aliens constitute less
than 5% of the workforce. However, they reduce wages and benefits for lawful
US residents.

#5. This is NOT an immigrant nation. There are 280 million native born
Americans. While it is true that this nation was settled and founded by
immigrants (legal immigrants), it is also true that there is not a nation on
this planet that was not settled by immigrants at one time or another.

#6. The United States is welcoming to legal immigrants. Illegal aliens are not
immigrants by definition. The US accepts more lawful immigrants every year
than the rest of the world combined.

#7. There is no such thing as the "Hispanic vote." Hispanics are white, brown,
black and every shade in between. Hispanics are Republicans, Democrats,
Anarchists, Communists, Marxists and Independents. The so-called "Hispanic
vote" is a myth. Pandering to illegal aliens to get the Hispanic vote is a dead end.

#8. Mexico is NOT a friend of the United States. Since 1848 Mexicans have
resented the United States. During World War I Mexico allowed German Spies
to operate freely in Mexico to spy on the US. During World War II Mexico
allowed the Axis powers to spy on the US from Mexico. During the Cold War
Mexico allowed spies hostile to the US to operate freely. The attack on the Twin
Towers in 2001 was cheered and applauded all across Mexico. Today Mexican
school children are taught that the US stole California, Arizona, New Mexico
and Texas. If you don't believe it, check out some Mexican textbooks written
for their school children.

#9. Although some illegal aliens enter this country for a better life, there are 6
billion people on this planet. At least 1 billion of those live on less than one
dollar a day. If wanting a better life is a valid excuse to break the law and sneak
into America, then let's allow those one billion to come to America and we'll turn the USA into a Third World nation overnight. Besides, there are 280 million native born Americans who want a better life. I'll bet Bill Gates and Donald Trump want a better life. When will the USA lifeboat be full? Since when is wanting a better life a good reason to trash another nation?

#10. There is a labor shortage in this country. This is a lie. There are hundreds
of thousands, if not millions, of American housewives, senior citizens, students,
unemployed and underemployed who would gladly take jobs at a decent wage.

#11. It is racist to want secure borders. What is racist about wanting secure
borders and a secure America? What is racist about not wanting people to sneak
into America and steal benefits we have set aside for legal aliens, senior citizens,
children and other legal residents? What is it about race that entitles people to
violate our laws, steal identities, and take the American Dream without paying
the price? For about four decades American politicians have refused to secure
our borders and look after the welfare of middle class Americans. These
politicians have been of both parties. A huge debt to American society has
resulted. This debt will be satisfied and the interest will be high. There has
already been riots in the streets by illegal aliens and their supporters. There will
be more. You, as a politician, have a choice to offend the illegal aliens who have
stolen into this country and demanded the rights afforded to US citizens or to
offend those of us who are stakeholders in this country. The interest will be steep either way. There will be civil unrest. There will be a reckoning. Do you have the courage to do what is right for America? Or, will you bow to the wants and needs of those who don't even have the right to remain here? There will be a reckoning.

It will come in November of this year. We will not allow America to be stolen by third world agitators and thieves.
